Kelly Lambert, PhD (Australia)

Dr Kelly Lambert is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian with qualifications in knowledge translation, health economics and management, and two decades of experience as a renal dietitian and a doctorate investigating health literacy and cognitive impairment in end stage kidney disease. Dr Lambert was awarded her PhD from the University of Wollongong in Australia in 2018. In 2020 she completed a 2 year post doctoral translational research fellowship to implement a new model of care for renal dietitians in the outpatient setting.  Dr Lambert’s research interests and values are targeted at supporting people with kidney disease to live better lives and improving patient education by health professionals for patients. Kelly is passionate about developing patient education materials that accommodate the barriers faced by people with kidney disease including health literacy and cognitive impairment
