KS Nayak, MD (India)

Dr K S Nayak is a pioneer in the field of Peritoneal Dialysis  & Cadaveric Kidney Transplantation, Nutrition in CKD with special interest in Ketoanalogues,Pre-Probiotics, Anaemia in CKD, Acute Kidney Injury. He is also an internationally acknowledged expert in Telemedicine in Dialysis.

Member of various Task Forces & Committees, he has developed Best Practice Guidelines for CKD and Anaemia management. He was the Past Chief Co-ordinator of the Asia Pacific Chapter for ISPD for the past decade and also a Past Councillor of ISPD, and currently Chairman of the Communications and Media Committee-ISPD. He successfully organized the prestigious 2nd Asian Chapter Meeting of the ISPD, Hyderabad in January 2005 and was also the Co-Director of the 3rd Hemodialysis University of ISHD,2014. He is the Organizing Chairman of the next ICRNM in Hyderabad, India.

He has published extensively in areas of Peritoneal Dialysis, Nutrition, Transplantation, Telemedicine and ICU Nephrology.He has authored invited editorials and book chapters and has delivered invited lectures all over the world such in Conferences such as ISPD, WCN, Annual Dialysis Conference USA, International Society of Hemodialysis(ISHD) Salzburg Global Seminar. The Harvard Business Review Magazine applauded his work citing world class outcomes.
